The mistreatment of medical students is an important issue for all universities. Knowing what constitutes mistreatment will help you identify it so it can be avoided; thus creating a more positive learning environment for our students and ensuring the utmost quality in patient care. By understanding the issue, we can work together to stop the cycle of mistreatment.
In this module, you will learn about the issues surrounding the mistreatment of students in the learning environment and the impact it has on patient safety and the quality of care, as well as on other health care professionals.
